Route to School Maps

Route to School Maps

Route to School Maps help students, parents and school staff make informed decisions about their travel routes to and from school.

The pamphlet include a map of the local school walking zone, highlighting multi-use trails, sidewalks, crosswalks, crossing guard locations, and appropriate drop-off areas. They also provide up-to-date pedestrian and cycling safety tips. Altogether, these maps are sure to help you plan the safest, quickest route to school!

During the 2008 – 2009 school year, a Route to School Planner was piloted at St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School and Otonabee Valley Public School. Active and Safe Routes to School Peterborough has since developed a map for Prince of Wales Public School in 2010, R.F. Downey Public School in 2012, and St. Anne CES in 2014.
