The Peterborough Bicycle Advisory Committee will hold its Vernal Velo Event, Cycle into Spring, at the McDonnel St. Activity Centre on Thursday, April 28th from 7-9pm.

P-BAC’s Vernal Velo Event celebrates the new cycling season and features guest speaker Justin Jones, Manager of the Bicycle Friendly Ontario program at the Share the Road Cycling Coalition. Fresh from participating in the 2016 Ontario Bike Summit on April 19 & 20, Justin will talk about his experiences working with towns and cities in Ontario to improve their bike infrastructure and get more citizens out riding their bicycles. The evening will also include updates on City and County bike infrastructure projects and a recap of cycling-related events in 2015. The event is free and light snacks are available.
